The Minister of Industry and Innovation of the Government of La Rioja, Mr. Javier Erro, and the President of the Chamber of Commerce of La Rioja, Mr. José María Ruiz Alejos, presented on 16th October the winners of the Internationalization Awards 2007: PRODUMIX, Viñedos de Aldeanueva and Tecni-Shoe.
José María Gutiérrez, PRODUMIX Director, indicated in a press conference that “The currency exchange index makes the current situation difficult in the way to Asia and America. However, we consider this is a transitory situation, that is why we are reluctant to abandon those markets in which it has been so hard to be leaders.”
The Internationalization Awards are given by the Chamber of Commerce, the Regional Government and the ICEX (Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade) since 1989. In this occasion, the Royal House will be supporting them, with the presence of the Princes of Spain in the awards ceremony that takes place next 23rd November.
